Alcohol Ink Card for Eagle Scout

Last weekend we went to an Eagle ceremony for one of the scouts in our troop. It was a wonderful ceremony and he is a wonderful scout, so I knew I wanted a special card for him.

I created this card with Ranger Alcohol inks and this great stamp by Stampers Anonymous. The alcohol inks are great for coloring anything that is metal too to create matching brads and accents. Hope you enjoy this and it inspires you to try alcohol inks. The background papers are Dream Street--nice heavy 2-sided papers.

  1. Absolutely gorgeous card! I have owned the alcohol inks for sometime and have yet to play with them - maybe it's time :)

  4. I just get lucky - heehee. I got a tip while watching Tim Holtz and he said to only use 1 drop of metallic mixative and that's what I always do. They are pretty forgiving, just keep playing until you like it, and don't be afraid to use the blending medium too :)

Come on girls -- I want to see your creations now.
